MLB DFS: Cavan Biggio and top August 4 picks for DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy baseball lineups

Week 19 of the MLB season concludes on Sunday with all 30 teams set to be in action. The MLB trade deadline came and went in the past went and many teams are now focused on the postseason, while others are beginning to think about next season and beyond. MLB DFS players will need to take all these factors into account when setting lineups on daily Fantasy sites such as FanDuel or DraftKings on Sunday. And before making the call on big-time stars such as Mike Trout, Justin Verlander, Noah Syndergaard, Christian Yelich or Bryce Harper, or searching for overlooked value picks elsewhere, be sure to check in with Mike McClure. He's won almost $2 million in his career as a DFS pro, and his top MLB DFS picks, lineups and advice can help you crush your Sunday selections.

When it comes to MLB, McClure is at his best. Recognized in the book "Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn Your Hobby into a Fortune" as a top MLB DFS player, McClure's proprietary projection model simulates each game 10,000 times, taking factors such as matchups and recent results into account. This allows him to find the best values on every site.

He got off to a hot start in 2019, producing lineups on SportsLine that have returned as much as 30x in the first half of the season. He's also finished in the top 1 percent of tournaments four times and the top 0.1 percent of tournaments twice this season already. He cashed huge in three consecutive tournaments in mid-June, which included a top 2 percent finish when his DraftKings lineup generated a whopping 185.9 points. He also had an optimal lineup on FanDuel that cashed 8x for followers right before the All-Star break.

Earlier this week, he rostered Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts on FanDuel. The result: Bogaerts had a massive day on Thursday, going 4-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs -- returning almost 50 points and over 12x value. Anybody who followed his advice was well on their way to a huge day. Now, McClure has set his sights on Sunday's MLB DFS slates. You can see his full roster at SportsLine.

One of McClure's top MLB DFS picks for Sunday is Twins outfielder Max Kepler at $4,400 on FanDuel and $5,300 on DraftKings. Kepler has been a key part of Minnesota's powerful offense this season, ranking second in the American League in home runs (30), fifth in RBIs (75) and sixth in slugging percentage (.588). He entered the weekend on a nine-game hitting streak and went off in Game 1 of his series against the Royals with a 2-for-3 performance that included a pair of doubles, two RBIs and two walks. He has a great chance to keep it rolling Sunday against Kansas City starter Brad Keller, a pitcher he has a sizzling .429 average against.

Part of his optimal MLB DFS strategy includes rostering Blue Jays second baseman Cavan Biggio at $3,700 on FanDuel and $4,400 on DraftKings. He'll look to take advantage of a matchup against the Baltimore Orioles, a team with the highest ERA in the American League (5.59).

Biggio, who got this series off against the Orioles with a 2-for-6 outing with two runs scored, has been heating up recently with a .259 average over his last seven games. He also has hit two of his eight home runs on the season against Baltimore, so he has a great chance to hit one against starter Tom Eshelman, who has a WHIP of 1.54 an an ERA of 6.35. He's an MLB DFS value pick you should be all over on Sunday.

McClure is also targeting an undervalued player who is set to explode for huge numbers on Sunday. The stars are aligning for him to return tournament-winning value and he comes at a price that won't break the bank. This pick could be the difference between cashing in big or going home with nothing.
