MLB DFS: Ronald Acuna and top picks for May 11 DraftKings and FanDuel daily Fantasy baseball lineups

MLB DFS: Ronald Acuna and top picks for May 11 DraftKings and FanDuel daily Fantasy baseball lineups

Saturday's MLB schedule features a whopping 16 games with the action unfolding all throughout the day. Red Sox vs. Mariners has the first pitch at 1:05 p.m ET, while Dodgers vs. Nationals concludes the day at 9:10 p.m. ET. That means MLB DFS players have a variety of slates to play on Saturday, May 11, and there are some big names taking the hill such as Max Scherzer, Walker Buehler, and Jacob deGrom. Before making the call on which pitchers are worth their price on daily Fantasy sites such as FanDuel or DraftKings, or which value hitters will provide huge returns, first see what Mike McClure has to say. He's a professional DFS player with almost $2 million in career winnings. His top MLB DFS picks for May 11, optimal lineups and advice can help you crush your rosters on Saturday.

When it comes to MLB, McClure is at his best. Recognized in the book "Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn Your Hobby into a Fortune" as a top MLB DFS player, McClure rolled through the 2018 season, producing multiple lineups that cashed in huge.

He's off to a hot start in 2019 as well, producing lineups on SportsLine that have returned as much as 12x. He's also finished in the top 1 percent of tournaments four times and the top 0.1 percent of tournaments twice this season already. Anybody following him has seen some huge returns. Now he's set his sights on Saturday's MLB DFS slates and locked in his picks.

Part of his optimal MLB DFS strategy for Saturday includes targeting Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna at $3,900 on FanDuel and $4,500 on DraftKings. With Atlanta's offense struggling, the Braves moved the second-year sensation back into leadoff spot on Friday night against the Diamondbacks. Acuna responded by crushing his eighth home run of the season in the eighth inning to help give the Braves the win. He gets a nice matchup against Diamondbacks starter Merrill Kelly on Saturday (4.85 ERA, 1.49 WHIP), so look for him to continue to produce big offensive numbers.

Another one of the MLB DFS picks McClure loves for Saturday: Padres second baseman Ian Kinsler ($3,000 on FanDuel, $3,600 on DraftKings), who returned almost 20x value on FanDuel in a game last week and now gets a favorable matchup against the Rockies at hitter-friendly Coors Field on Saturday. He comes at a significantly cheaper price than many of the other projected starting second basemen, but still has the ability to go off, so confidently lock him in your MLB DFS lineups.

McClure is also targeting an undervalued player who is set to explode for huge numbers on Saturday. The stars are aligning for him to return huge value and he comes at a lower price than you would expect. This pick could be the difference between cashing in big or going home with nothing.
