In what could be a preview of the 2023 National League Championship Series, the Braves have won three straight games in a four-game series against the Dodgers. Acuna has padded his stats in his run to becoming the overwhelming favorite to win the NL MVP by hitting a home run in each of the first three games of the series. Acuna has been one of the most dominant players in the MLB DFS player pool since Opening Day. He leads baseball in seveeral categories like runs scored (123), stolen bases (63) and on-base percentage (.419), while ranking in the top five in average, OPS and total bases.
Should daily Fantasy baseball players add him to their MLB DFS lineups on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings on Sunday? He's not cheap, but he's been a profitable part of many MLB DFS strategies. Anybody who included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

McClure's top MLB DFS picks for Sunday
One of McClure's top MLB DFS picks for Sunday is Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers ($5,800 on DraftKings and $3,700 on FanDuel). Devers went 2-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI on Saturday to continue one of the best seasons for third basemen in the MLB. He is second in RBI (90) and total bases (249) at his position and leads all third basemen in OPS (.849).
The 26-year-old is one home run away from hitting at least 30 long balls for the third time in his last four seasons outside the shortened 2020 campaign. He's a career .280 hitter with an .853 OPS over seven seasons as one of the most consistent third basemen in baseball over that span. Devers is rarely a poor play in MLB DFS lineups and his price tag on Sunday shows value in adding him against a Royals team tied with the most losses in baseball (95).
McClure's optimal MLB DFS strategy includes stacking Devers with outfielder Alex Verdugo ($4,600 on DraftKings and $3,300 on FanDuel). Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a double and a triple on Saturday and he's put together a dominant first two games against the Royals. The 27-year-old had a home run on Friday and the left-handed hitter is batting .301 with an .859 against right-handed pitchers this season. That bodes well with the Royals scheduled to throw RHP Taylor Clarke as an opener on Sunday.
Both Verdugo and Devers will likely get an at-bat against Clarke with the duo often hitting at the top of the Red Sox order. The two left-handed hitters pose matchup problems for Clarke with left-handed hitters batting .337 with a .936 OPS against him this season. The stack could do early damage against Clarke before turning to the rest of the Royals bullpen, which has the second-highest bullpen ERA (5.29) in baseball this season.
