The 2023 MLB season continues on Tuesday with all 30 MLB teams in action and that means a loaded MLB DFS player pool for daily Fantasy baseball players. Six of those games currently have totals of 9 runs or higher and it's a popular MLB DFS strategy to target games with high over/unders with MLB DFS stacks. So which high-scoring games should you be all over, and which individual matchups can you confidently attack?
The Mets have a 1.343 team OPS in their collective careers against expected Nationals starter Josiah Gray. So might you consider stacking players like Jeff McNeil, Pete Alonso and Brandon Nimmo for you MLB DFS lineups with all three players sporting a career OPS of at least 1.500 against Gray? McClure's top MLB DFS picks for Tuesday
One of McClure's top MLB DFS picks for Tuesday is Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. at $3,300 on FanDuel and $5,000 on DraftKings. The over/under for Tuesday's matchup between the Royals and Diamondbacks at Chase Field is 10, which is the highest of any game on the Tuesday MLB schedule and Witt's combination of power and speed makes him an alluring option.
The No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 MLB Draft is the son of a 16-year MLB veteran (Bobby Witt Sr.) and entered the 2022 season as the consensus No. 1 prospect in baseball. He'd go on to finish fourth in AL MVP voting with 20 home runs, 80 RBI and 30 stolen bases and he's already added four more home runs and five more stolen bases over 23 games in 2023.
McClure's MLB DFS strategy also includes rostering Braves third baseman Austin Riley at $3,400 on FanDuel and $5,400 on DraftKings. Riley has hit 71 home runs with 200 RBI and an .887 OPS over the last two seasons and he's having another strong season in 2023.
He's already hit five home runs with 14 RBI and has an .855 OPS over 23 games. Riley has also taken a slightly more patient approach at the plate early this season, with a 13.7% walk rate that dwarfs his previous career best of 8.2% last year. He'll take on Marlins rookie Bryan Hoeing on Tuesday, who has already allowed 17 earned runs over 12 2/3 innings this year. See who else to pick here.
