NHL Playoffs 2019: Hurricanes try to make it a series vs. Bruins as ECF moves to Carolina

Throughout the NHL, home ice advantage hasn't actually been a major advantage for teams this postseason. That is, except for the Carolina Hurricanes, who are 5-0 within the friendly confines of PNC Arena. They beat the Capitals three times at home before beating the Islanders twice to sweep their second round series.

They'll need more of that on Tuesday, as they go into Game 3 against the Bruins down 2-0 in a must-win game. So far the series hasn't been close, with the Bruins winning the first two games by a combined seven goals, but the Hurricanes have shown comeback potential before.

They haven't, however, be playing Boston. The Bruins are getting help up and down their lineups right now, with Matt Grzelcyk putting two goals on the board in Game 2. Danton Heinen, David Backes, Connor Clifton and Jake DeBrusk were responsible for Boston's other four goals, handing the Hurricanes a brutal 6-2 loss.

Sebastian Aho is still looking to find consistency against the Brions while Teuvo Teravainen will try to keep his groove, with seven goals in the playoffs. The Hurricanes will have to have short memories after a tough start in Boston to get back into this series.
