Mosley, 42, played professionally in Mexico, Australia, Spain, Finland and South Korea, and joins the Magic from the Dallas Mavericks, where he has been an assistant coach since 2014. Before coaching in Dallas, Mosley was an assistant coach in Cleveland and worked in player development for the Denver Nuggets.
The Magic and former head coach Steve Clifford mutually parted ways in June after three seasons together, including two playoff appearances. Orlando finished 14th in the Eastern Conference this season with a 21-51 record and will pick fifth overall in this summer’s NBA Draft.
