Seattle's T-Mobile Park, home of the Mariners, has been chosen to be the host for the All-Star Game and related festivities in 2023, Major League Baseball announced Thursday afternoon.
This means that there will be All-Star-related activities for locals around the ballpark in the weeks leading up to the event. The All-Star Game itself will be on a Tuesday in July -- we'll guess July 11, 2023, based upon where it usually falls on the calendar -- which means the main draws will likely be:
Sunday, July 9, 2023: Futures Game followed by Celebrity Softball Game (which generally airs on TV after the Derby on Monday)Monday, July 10, 2023: Home Run DerbyTuesday, July 11, 2023: All-Star GameSeattle last hosted the All-Star Game and related festivities in 2001.

The best guess is the fight for the 2024-25 games comes down to the Braves, Cubs, Blue Jays, Orioles and Rangers.
