Great news, everybody! Not only is today Friday, but it's also my last day before I take yet another vacation. Yep, that's right, a couple of weeks after taking two weeks off, I'm taking another week off to rest and prepare for the meatgrinder that is football season.
I know most people had to adjust to pandemic life last year, but for me, it was basically a much longer version of football season, when I'm working all day every day, and my friends and family aren't much more than a myth.
As for why my going on vacation is good news for you, well, have you seen my record this week in these picks? It's been awful, and I'm sincerely sorry to you for it. If it makes you feel any better, remember that I'm betting these picks too, so when you lose, I lose. We're in this together. Hopefully, tonight is the first night of a winning streak that will take you through next week and to my return from vacation.
